Mission Impractical

Sewing 144 leeeetle triangles.   Check
Pressing 144 leeeetle triangles.  Check
Squaring up 144 leeeetle triangles to 1 1/4" squares.  Half-Check
Here's an example of where we are today (just for size perspective).
I'm kinda likin' the pinwheel block.  Wonder how cheerful I'll feel after making 36 of 'em?
Time will tell...
(Sorry for the lousy photo...late at night)

Be brave!

  1. Are we repurposing from another project? I tend to do that, and wonder just why I put myself thru it, but I am addicted to finding ways to use up left overs! :-) I bet it will be worth it in the end!

  2. You are already much braver than me - I would never have started something that small! blessings, marlene

  3. Good gravy, that's tiny! Be brave, indeed! :)

  4. My eyes hurt just thinking about working with 1 1/4 inch pinwheels. Go for it!

  5. I have many of these just lying around, because I can't seem to throw away those pesky dog ears... so I sew them together and figure I will use them later! LOL YUP we are crazy!! Welcome into the fold!!

  6. Haha.... I am squaring up too... it is not the most exciting part is it.... I must do a count soon!! But they are going to be AWESOME!

  7. Wow...I am truly impressed. I can't even get a 6 inch friendship star to meet up and here you have leetle teeny tiny perfect pieces put together. Love what you are doing!

  8. Holy ten cents! Hoping you will feel happy when you get done or if a terrifying creature will be exploding through our computer screens...personally I'm hoping for happy! LOL
