Hi, I just came across your blog when I saw your profile picture on a blog you made a comment on. My sister and I have just come across the flower you have pictured in your profile and we have been trying so hard to find out what it is..can you help identify it for us? I would be pleased to know it's name. We thought it was a wild flower as we found it along a outdoor pathway.. Thanks in advance..Shirley from Sweetromaticnotions.blogspot.com
Hi Shirley! The name of the flower is "Bull Thistle". I've always loved the flower but the plant itself is considered a weed. I'll post this on your blog, too!
Thank you Sheryl for getting back to me on your profile photo..We were happy to have found it's origin..You were a big help and I'm now following you..I also posted your blog address on my blog telling how I came across this..Thanks again...have a great Friday.. Shirley
